We would like to say a HUGE thank you to those that have already supported us in bringing the Carnival to life.

Individual cash donations 2015 – 2017 – so far we’ve received over £700 from our public supporters which we have used to pay for craft materials, staff t-shirts, room and stall hire.



Sheffield City Council 2017 – Sheffield City Council have offered us an amazing opportunity to launch at the Sheffield Fayre which they run alongside the Friends of Norfolk Heritage Park, Sheffield City Council have provided a huge amount of help and support organising and marketing the event.

Friends of Norfolk Heritage Park 2017 – Friends of Norfolk Heritage Park run the Sheffield Fayre with Sheffield City Council and they have offered us the incredible opportunity to launch Sheffield Carnival at the Fayre. They have also provided a huge amount of help and support in organising and marketing the event.

Sadacca 2016/2017 –  provided us with a room for our Easter taster session and for our meetings and offer continued support and space to run our workshops.

Sheffield Town Trust 2017 – £1000 grant towards booking a venue for our 2017 Carnival, website hosting and public liability insurance.


Crafty Business 2017 – for donation of craft materials for our carnival costume workshops

South Yorkshire Community Foundation (SYCF) 2016– £1260.00 grant towards costume making, outdoor stall equipment, marquee, pa system and promotional activities.


Nycha Dance 2016 – for running dance choreography sessions and helping us add a splash of carnival around Sheffield.
